On Sunday August 10th, activists from all over Southern California converged upon the neighborhoods of some of the worst primate vivisectors in the Southern California area to picket the cruel, absurd, disgusting and evil practice of experimenting on non-human primates.
First up on the hit parade was Edythe London. She oversees the addiction of vervet monkeys to nicotine, crystal methamphetamines and other drugs. Activists marched around her home at 10256 Edgley Place, leafleting neighbors as well as participating in chalk art and chants to educate her neighbors about what London does for a living.
London has been a target of underground animal liberationists, having had her previous home flooded as well as her front door burned. Her new home a few blocks from the university has a twenty four hour security guard now posted outside, and any family cars safely enclosed in the garage. Edythe must feel as if she's under siege, which is exactly what a perverted animal abuser ought to feel like. Maybe other young scientists will now think twice before going into a career where primates and other animals are burned, have their limbs severed, blinded, addicted to drugs and other mutilations for profit and academic status.
Arthur Rosenbaum at 465 Loring Ave was next on the agenda, his home still looking like an isolated fortress months after an incendiary device was placed under his BMW (it did not go off.) But following this incident, he installed such high-tech cameras and security protection, it makes his home look like a high ranking member of a leading drug cartel in Mexico lives there!! Those who have to live in an environment that is protected from the public like a fortress because of the crimes they commit against innocent sentient beings reveal themselves as the modern day criminals that they are. Criminals such as vivisectors should be treated like illegal drug distributors or the Nazi's during WWII whose offenses needed to be protected from a public becoming more and more determined to stop their crimes using what ever means necessary.
Last on the list was Joaquin Fuster; he has been doing horrific primate experiments for years. This criminal living at 2440 Pesquera Drive, who drives a blood red Mercedes convertible, has been picketed for over five years. Unfortunately he still continues his evil acts against primates, but not without having to deal with the stress and worries he and his wife apparently now live with because of his choice of doing experiments on the brains of conscious primates for a living. He sports a nice tan from driving his convertible to UCLA, but his tan can't cover up the fact that this loathsome individual has the blood of primates dripping from his hands.
The police were called in early on, paid by UCLA to protect these criminals, and so the legal picketers' van was followed from one criminal's neighborhood to the next. This made the primate vivisectors look even WORSE to passerby's and their neighbors. If these individuals weren't doing anything wrong, then why do they need so much protection from a small number of peaceful demonstrators?
The neighbors around London's home were most sympathetic, including one couple with two small children who watched the activists and thanked them, holding up a note that stated "WE LOVE MONKEY'S". This couple lived in a large mansion near London and they and other wealthy neighbors told activists that they do NOT want a monkey killer living in their neighborhood.
A good day was had by all the activists, who take great comfort in knowing that by their actions of picketing, they are not only carrying on a Constitutional right woven into the fabric of our nation, but that as picketers they expose the malicious acts of depravity, leaving these vivisecting animal abusers naked for all the world to see! |
