The University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) is desperately trying to silence above-ground picketers who are airing to the world the university's dirty laundry. This includes fraudulent eye experiments cited above, nicotine abuse studies (funded by Phillip Morris Tobacco Co.), artificially-induced addiction of primates to crystal meth (while legitimate drug rehab centers flounder for lack of funds) and a whole host of other revolting experiments on non-human primates who are held against their will behind the "fortress" that UCLA built to protect their vivisecting dungeons.
UCLA is currently seeking an injunction against five legal above-ground activists. These activists willingly allow themselves to be videotaped by and have their identities become known to police in order to disseminate the important message about what UCLA does to primates. This injunction, in the form of a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) is also UCLA's retribution for a lawsuit filed two months ago against them by protesters who have been unfairly harassed by UCLA campus police.
Activists went to the neighborhood of Arthur Rosembaum to educate them about the immoral and scientifically fraudulent eye experimentation he does on innocent primates. One of the five defendants named in UCLA's injunctive lawsuit was present and as she walked along the sidewalk, a bevy of badged bearers swarmed her in order to serve the TRO paper work prohibiting her from approaching within fifty feet of the residence. She therefore picketed across the street from Rosenbaum's mansion along with a few others who also voluntarily limited their own approach in support. A court case is pending against the unconstitutional and unwarranted TRO. However, the other activists spent a long time marching by Rosenbaum's and throughout his neighborhood letting everyone know the primate torture that Rosenbaum is responsible for.
Vivisection is both an animal rights and a human rights issue. Animals have the right not to be tortured and murdered by greedy psychopaths lapping at the government grant gravy train and people have the right to steady and reliable medical research. Vivisection is applicable to humans from 5%-25% of the time. Note that simply tossing a coin would yield 50% accuracy and spare the animal suffering.
Satisfied that their message was heard, demonstrators departed without incident. |
