LOS ANGELES AND SANTA MONICA

Above-ground and legal animal rights activists convened for a round of evening mobile demos in Los Angeles and Santa Monica against three UCLA vivisectors notorious for their immoral and scientifically fraudulent experimentation on primates. First on the agenda was Arthur Rosenbaum, who injects Botox and glues coils onto the eyes of monkeys in order to simulate strabismus - a common and self-limiting condition also known as "crossed" eye and for which a simple and successful operation has already been in practice for at least six decades. One of the protesters, in fact, underwent the effective surgical procedure fifty-six years ago.
At approximately 7pm, activists had marched up and down the block chanting and were in the process of sidling past Arthur's fancy home located at 465 Loring Avenue in Los Angeles when they were descended upon by a horde of UCLA police thugs headed by the corrupt Captain John Adams. He announced that the activists would have to cease their chanting because of an alleged complaint from one neighbor! Of course, said neighbor was never produced.
Captain Adams seems to have made issuing unlawful orders to activists and violating the California Constitution his personal life mission. He regularly and blatantly flouts the law in a perverse attempt to feel empowered and in control; and does this right in front the activists legal observer who is, himself, an attorney. Adams forced the other officers to take everyone's names.
Adams is the type of campus cop who is so impotent at home and on the job that he has to bully activists and students alike in order to feel good about himself. Adams is emblematic of the insecure, over-zealous, and autocratic cops UCLA seems to like to employ. Under Adams' watch, not only was a UCLA student tasered for no reason and a big lawsuit filed - but also legal, above-ground animal rights activists have been harassed, threatened, stalked, falsely detained, and arrested because of his illegal orders. At the current time, activists have contacted several lawyers (two of whom are parents of activists,) and legal action is going to be pursued.
The irony of all this is that because Adams is so insecure and incompetent, he consistently violates the rights of activists who attend legal demonstrations and therefore encourages other forms of protest!
Who in the underground would ever attend an above-ground demo? It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that people attending public pickets know that they are being filmed and could be arrested if they indeed commit a crime. So those brave warriors of the underground simply stay away from the protests, keep very low profiles, and focus on doing the most important, courageous and strategic work for the animals on their own time; and without the presence of a legal observer!!
But we digress. . . . Since Rosenbaum's neighborhood had already heard the activists' message about what Rosenbaum does to primates, they spent the next fifteen minutes walking by Rosenbaum's house and throughout the neighborhood in a silent death march. Then they carried on to the next vivisector's neighborhood.
The police were in tow as the picketers proceeded to the neighborhood of Juaquin Fuster - depraved career vivisector - at 2440 La Pesquera. Several police cars and a swarm of uniformed officers awaited protesters who subsequently arrived and initiated a vigil with flashlights and candles. One neighbor down the street came out and told an activist about Fuster's personal life, because she hates what Fuster does to monkeys. She stated the she and her friends want him to move out of their neighborhood. Activists gave her another leaflet detailing Fuster's grisly eye experiments on conscious primates restrained in stereotaxic devices. She stated that she and her friends would help the monkeys in any way they could.
Finally, activists took off to pay a long overdue visit to Nelson Freimer - the psychopath who uses captive primates to nonsensically study psychological disorders specific to humans. He has to induce these disorders by manipulating, abusing, and torturing monkeys. Activists stood right in front of Freimer's home at 453 12th Street in Santa Monica with flashlights, candles, and posters of experimental primates. The highlight of the night's vigils occurred when the frankenvivisector himself looked out the bedroom window, saw the line of silent protesters, and immediately shuttered the blinds.
There were approximately fifteen cops standing guard in front of his home. Can you imagine having to guard an evil vivisector from twelve peaceful activists because he is hated as a result of his perversities and that thousands of individuals despise him for animal cruelty? Freimer must have felt similar to how a pediophile who spends his time raping children feels when he looks outside his window and sees picketers!
For a long time now, information has been coming in from UCLA students, employees, and even professors about the sick primate vivisectors who torture monkeys at UCLA. In turn, we at UCLA Primate Freedom will let you - as well as millions of other activists around the world - know about these primate butchers at UCLA, so that you can hopefully stop their egregious daily atrocities against innocent primates. Keep those e-mails, phone calls, faxes, letters, and notes coming!!!
